How can you not refund all money on the 1 or recall the field? Broken equipment before start and pulling up before gate turns them lose!

WTF!

you should well know by now, Mr. Everything Delaware, that Dover isn't going to do anything to help the "retail" bettor. By not calling for a recall, this gives the CAWs plenty of time to take money out of the pools--they don't just bet after the bell, they cancel after the bell also.

when was the last time Dover or Harrington had a recall?

Broken Equipment doesn't exist in their minds

Well, thank you for clearing this matter up.

So, you're saying the starter is in on it as well? They could of at least announced the 1 was a non-starter and refund the money bet on him after the race.

since there is no fair start pole--the starter is instructed to do nothing

if that is considered "in on it"--then yes

declaring him a non-starter would decrease the handle--even though their pools are tiny either way

The chart has the broken equipment occurring AFTER the start, so in other words, better luck!

Well you don't think they would show it before. Then they have questions to answer.
Watch the replay and then tell me it was after the start. Driver already started pulling him up before start.

Driver looks down and notices it and starts pulling up well before start marker.
