she only had 53 lifetime starts
I don’t think she was over raced personally
Did you watch any of those 53 starts almost all with brutal trips,     This horse was way over raced

I did. I predict it will have zero to little impact on her broodmare career

I don't consider Sylvia overraced, because she wouldn't allow it. That mare is too smart for her own good and acted like one who could smell blood in the water, so to speak, and never saw a horse that expended less unnecessary energy.

She only did enough to win and IMO if she didn't think she could, she didn't really try. At least that's the impression she left me with.

"While most findings were positive, an injury to her collateral ligament was discovered, requiring approximately four months of rest. Although her prognosis for a racing return was favorable, we have chosen to retire her now
and look forward with great excitement to cheering on her future foals."

Listening carefully to y'all and respecting your expertise, and reading between the lines here, and the word "now" was not necessary, I think a tell, yeh, she is going to un-retire.

I think they're testing the market, if she's sold, can't she still race for the new owner if she's sound?

What kind of odds should I get on that prediction, when un-retiring would be accurate?

30/1 she never races again. You pick the price and I’ll print the ticket

First things first...

What's the time frame she has to unretire?

Do you want to go cash, I'll go a C, or could go non cash and something like if I win I have to change my screen name to SylviaPlop for a week, you for 30 weeks?

Tony said what he said just in case, so that if someone comes along and wants to offer him enough to make him sell-----he's thrown it out there that she can come back and the new buyer doesn't have to retire her, and can put her back into training. Why wouldn't he say that, LOL.

I'm getting 30-1 and happy as a clam though Stan has left the building before finalizing the terms.

She retires in 6 months from the bet date I win, 6 months and 1 day from the bet date he wins.

How's that Stan, are you ready to set that date, are you good with my $100 against your $3000?

Who is escrowing the wager?

Or do you want to do that non cash thing?
