Nickerson/Athearn

What gives? I noticed hes taken his nephew off alot of the horses at Plainridge.  Plainridge is a sub par driving colony at best so why take family off?

Beckwith is one of the best young drivers in the country. Ranger dominated Pompano for years with over 10,000 wins. Gray has been a leading driver at Stg and upstate NY tracks for years. Monti is the top driver in the Buffalo, Batavia circuit. Graffam, Athearn, and Swtizer win tons or races, and now Cushing is in the top five. Not a bad driving colony for B track. And they make a very nice living

Yes Plainridge has some good drivers. Beckwith was leading Meadowlands, Saratoga, and Plainridge.....

Ranger is over the hill.   Monti does well at Batavia and Buffalo which is a weak circuit.
Graffam and switzer do ok because they race maine and mass which is again a weak circuit.  Cushing does well at ridge only.   So once again back to my actual question why has Jimmy taken Matt off alot of horses?

Luke Hanners left Saratoga for Ohio and is doing well out of the shadow of Beckwith, driving for Virgil.

Luke is doing very very well.  With that being said Cushing was dating virgils daughter and couldn't make a go of it in ohio

Mitch drove for our stable, and we liked the kid very much.

I met Mitch when he was driving regular in Maine. Really nice guy. I glad he's back in New England. I hope he does great!
