Can someone repost his song
"Second Right There"
I am just an old horse trainer still going around in circles. Sometimes Fast. Sometimes Half-Fast.

the driver of two of my favorite horses....

of course Sanibel(mis-spelled) Island and her 23 race winning streak

and Vankirk--winner of the 83 or 84 Battle Of Brandywine

he took full blame for the loss of the race she lost to break her streak-all class-it wasn't his fault

he basically was devastated and retired when his best friend, Hal Belote, had his fatal accident

Excellent horseman! Absolutely underrated. Very nice guy. Well liked and well respected by his peers. At least those who count. He scaled down big time and was pretty quiet for years, and he completely got out of the business around 2018 or so. He sold a few remaining horses at Harrisburg. I saw him there and he said he was going to "retire" and concentrate on his music (for those of you who don't know, he is a hell of a musician!). Anyway, during the pandemic he kind of got back in a little as he took on (I think) two horses (one from his brother-in-law or something like that)-----that horse being the trotter Zero Dark Thirty. I saw him in Harrisburg that year. He looked good, happy, and I am very glad for him.

Way to go
