Ellis Park

With Ellis Park's 25 day meet completed, they have to be pretty happy being up in handle 6% at 77 million. I was wondering how jockey Tyler Gaffalione would "come back" back after his injury. But he wound up winning the Jockey title. Good for him. I've never been to Ellis Park. Any "Plopsters" ever attend the races there? I hear the facility is nice.

It's actually Evanville Indiana home track. If you go say hi to Don Mattingly. He signed a couple of basseballs for me when I was there

After what happened to me there on Sunday.. I think it might be my new favorite track, along with my new favorite jockey Sophie Doyle. You are right bello, it's in Kentucky right on the Indiana border. I have heard good things about it Dougie but I have never been. Even from my house in Ohio it would be a 5 or 6 hour drive. I'd rather make the 3 or 4 hour drive to Churchill. Bello I saw Donny Baseball play for the Columbus Clippers when I was a kid. They used to be the aaa team for the Yankees, now they are for Cleveland. I have 4 or 5 of his rookie cards. 1983 I think.
