11:10 AM early start at the SPA for their 14 race card ending @ 650pm.  Stakes rich with six, including the Travers!  Weather is beautiful, high 70's to mid 80's and a light breeze. Should be Fast and Firm.

The Travers GI - $1.25mil purse - Matching up Sovereignty against Magnitude, both winning their last 5 combined races and they sported triple digit speed figures in all of them.  Strategic Focus, McAfee and Bracket Buster joining the 5 horse party! WP, EX, TRI, SUP, DD wagering available for this one!

Big Stakes at Mohawk Sucker Track (MST) (635pm start) & Scioto (552pm start)!  Both of these should be Fast.

I'm looking at a total of 26 races, additionally a stakes at Batavia, Del Mar, and one horse that I follow who landed at Kawartha.  All these tracks should be Fast too.

My selected races start at 200pm and end at 1034pm, a second shift of sorts.  Rest well, study hard, smartly assemble your wagers, and check your tickets - Good Luck Today, and, YES, let's have at least a six figure winning day!   ;D

a few win bets and a coldpunch exacta......for now--more to come later

race 5--#10 Silsbee-should get a good trip from outside-Weaver turf sprint high %

race 10--#8 Madaket Road--has plenty of speed-should get a very nice trip with great post

race 11--#9 Hope Road--has plenty of speed-should get a very nice trip with great post(same as race 10)

race 13- cold exacta 4-3--doubt they beat Sovreignty--#3 Strategic Focus gets blinkers and I think can pickoff Magnitude late to complete the exacta

good luck to all on a great day of racing

Good luck today Pap.. and I'll say it one more time and then drop it.. Sorry man. I took a bath on that race. On a bright note I hit the late pick 4 at Charlestown last night for $424 .. that shrunk my losses quite a bit.

well-defeating 1-5 favorite Overnight Pow Wow in race 12 made your Pick 4 pay well

she was bumped early and on the far turn and still almost won--but its horse racing-anything goes

$424 was a very good payoff tmbz1

Happy Travers Day to everyone !! I'll be posting some this morning and early this afternoon.. then my wife and I are going to see my brother in law's band down in Columbus. He plays the drums. Mostly 70's and 80's rock n roll. So this evening I won't be posting much, I'll have one eye on the band and one eye on Scioto. Tough early races at the spa. Here is the early pick 5 play...
ALL/ALL/ALL/10 /10

Here's a song for your ol' lady and all the great chicks in our life to get the day started!  ;D

Great tune. I saw them on the Razor's Edge tour in Dayton in 1991 when I was 16 years old. One of the loudest concerts I have ever been to. As I always say about my wife... I "love" her ALL the time, it doesn't mean I "like" her ALL the time. She is Sicilian and let's just say you don't want to piss her off. If I showed her some of the shit said about me on here she'd go ballistic

I've been loving and profiting off Sovereignty since he was a pup, races, future pools, with the exception of the Florida Derby.

Magnitude is very fresh, none of these horse are.

(Maybe) No one is catching Magnitude today!

Strategic Focus and blinkers especially if you watched the last race before the wire, you're correct a real foe!  A big fucking horse too, he wants to be like his father, Curlin!  ;D

Not an ideal start with favorites winning the first 2 legs..desperately need a price in race 3. Here is the Spa Pick 5 starting in race 3
ALL/10/10/ALL/ALL
$168 chips
Total investment now $315

Breaks my heart to do this to Sovereignty.

I know Alvarado loves the horse.

I love the horse, and if he beats me I'll be cheering him on!

If Junior doesn't have it, he's not pushing him to look like a chump, and I need VALUE.

Heaven help me  ngc3.

Magnitude and McAfee 1st and or 2nd, Strategic Focus third, and Bracket Buster and Sovereignty 4th and or 5th.

 Saratoga                100.00
   Race 13    20.00    EX    BX+1+5    NaN.00
   Race 13    20.00    PLC    5    20.00
   Race 13    10.00    TRI    1+5 / 1+5 / 3    20.00
   Race 13    5.00    SPR    1+5 / 1+5 / 3 / 1+2+3+4+5    20.00

100 bux, who gives a shit - I'm done thinking about it!   ;D

Bold strategy.. I'm not betting the race I will be purely a spectator. Those bets would break the bank. I will be very curious to see the place pool
