NoneWas bidding on a horse and eventually lost him to the owner who was upselling his own fucking horse.Never used it since.
I’ve seen many buy backs. AMac and Carmine A are well known for bidding on their own horses and taking them back.
Spending tens of thousands on horses sight unseen is a recipe for disaster.
SAMSTARHAS DONE WELL ON THE SIGHT He buys great trotters from top trainers
Loves getting them from Erv.
Its called a “reserve”
Horse write-ups don't tell the true story. Most say no help, saving money for the sale, tied up in last, sick in last. They don't tell you the horse gets injected every week or has a screw in its ankle. Or is it not safe to be around? I've heard of many that are bought online and never raced again. Many Amish men also attempt to sell their trotters, but often end up repurchasing them. If a poll were ever taken, I would guess 70% turn out to be bad buys
