He came on very strong to win the Hastings Invitation race. Just raced on the 4th. at Plainridge. Don’t know if that’s good or bad?
IMHO horses can race even the same day in more than one race and do well. There are many examples of this in championship races like the old Hambo where you had to do well in a heat and the final in the same day.On the TB side back in past times a trainer named Oscar Barrera sr would run a horse back after 4 days regularly.
Solid point, and wasn't too long ago, Little Brown Jug still does it!
It only changed a few years ago, but the LBJ had a possibility of a 3rd heat as well. Heat racing is a thing of the past.. never to be seen again. The only time bringing them back to quickly is a bad thing is for 2 year olds like the Clegg Clan does.
