Ft. Erie - Fourth race today 8/4

If anyone can access the replay of today's fourth race, please explain to me what the jockey, Kirk Johnson, was doing in the stretch.  He opens up about a five length lead and is coasting also looking back and he stops riding the horse to the finish.  The eight horse comes flying down the stretch and blows right by him.  If this was harness racing, the driver would be given at least 30 days to think about it.  To me it appeared he simply didn't want to win.

The #6 jockey kept looking back and was screaming to the #8 jockey hurry up Leo before I win this thing!!! 

In defense of the jockey Kirk Johnson, there is no actual defense, though he did win the next race with a 2/5 with a little more enthusiasm!

He is one of the biggest crooks at FE.  Always has been.   I stopped playing that track 2 years ago.   Too much corruption

Wow. That ride was awful. 30 days at minimum.
FE known for some bad rides. Few years back, something I’ve never seen before- A distance race on Turf which starts on the backstretch, so they need to pass finish line and do a second lap. Jock guns out of gate, quarter horse style, opens up 20 lengths, passes finish line and slow gallops out thinking race is over. Every horse goes by, and he still doesn’t get the hint. He starts riding again but of course it’s too late by that point.

Horse goes 22 to the quarter in a race that goes in a minute and stops.

wow--it didn't take long for that to make the news

the only way it is worth it is obviously bet offshore, bookies, or the exchanges----a market where you are allowed to "lay" against a horse winning-BetFair UK is a track they certainly have---NJ had access is 2017-2018

these foreign entities track all the data and report to the authorities any suspicious wagering patterns

my best guess some Canadian bookie got burnt
