Early pick 5 at Charlestown

If and when we all have a chance to be better prepared, more time to start a thread and bang around thoughts a day or 1/2 day before, we're gonna take down a nice day soon.

I work like some of y'all, was shaving and showering, mopping my floors and crashed at 530am.  I go day and night, advantage is I'm by the computer typically, the rest of it is physical, property maintenance.

he has the three logical choices in race 3

#8 Uncle Chinito cost me a bundle 5 weeks ago--was extremely fractious in the gate and had nothing

the horse owes me and has changed trainer to Shanley

has the golden outside post for a 4.5F race and he has plenty of early gas

win bet #8

JT is amazing, this is what happens.  I won 1 big one today, otherwise I would of sank like the fucking titanic, I lost $780 on race and the potential payouts were astronomical on the one I crashed.  I bet a thousand last week last minute threw the win bet on and thankfully mitigated lost a lil over half.

JT is fine, we're livid, yeh, I couldn't even post.  Then you realize, that we're forming strategies, when you don't have a horse or horses and are guaranteed to win otherwise damn it, bet them as insurance.

When JT hits a 5, 6...figure I'd me the last surprised and jumping for fucking joy - we need that energy here.  He's talented and has balls, it's a long tough bet!

Man that hurt at Charlestown last night, get 2 easy singles through in race 1 and 2 and then the bomb hits in race 3 instead of 4 or 5. Arnaldo is my favorite jockey there. Always use him as my single whenever I know he will be heavily favored

I get it, you're preaching to the choir lol.

The CT early P5 yesterday paid for a buck / 50 cents = $6163 / 3081.50.

With these type wagers you don't want to be wrong 10 times but if you were and on the 11th hit, those type payouts against your investment your still making a couple of grand profit.

It's a time thing, it worked against us both badly yesterday, Me missing the superfecta for a dime for $4k in BigM's 6th yesterday and yours here.

Here is another strategy I thought of for multi-legs when you're facing a 4/5 type situation, in the instance last night, consider betting both horses that you had to place.  The #4 paid $8.40.  Again, insurance against the wager and still potential to win something.

Even when you handicap on the fly and it works, doesn't mean having more time is going to work against you.  We learn from our experiences, and we'll figure it out.

We're going to get closer to consistent winning.  :)
