SPA Sunday, Day XIV, 7/27/25

What a great action day yesterday, so much anticipation, then it all went down!

I think I'm going to have to limit myself to 10 races or less a week.  This week saw fair results, and I studied and wagered on about 20 races.  I really like to spend a couple of hours with a race.  I don't have the stamina, possibly the quick focus to successfully dash through races like JT, Dougie, Bello...

I'm going to hold out with the SPA weather / track conditions because there is a 100% chance of rain tonight according to the forecast, 1/4" of rain, plus scattered storms during the day.

I'm attempting the G2, Glenn Falls 1 1/2 miles Turf at the SPA, Race 7 (435pm)

I studied the race like it would be be good or yielding TURF, if so I feel the #3 and #8 could handle that track condition and distance.  Tentative on the track condition and the selections though.

Del Mar looks Fast and Firm, and I'm going for the G2 Eddie Reed 1 1/8 miles on the Turf, Race 9 (903 pm).

I like the 5 Gold Phoenix.

I'm following a horse that landed in a cheappy cheap race at Chester Harrahs from Mohawk.  Track I think will be Fast and the horse is the #5 in Race 13 (440pm).  I like the 2,3,5 there.

I'll go 200 beans more or less combined for all 3 races tomorrow!  Good Luck!

Maragh is a cunt, he's in front by 4 shift your action, hit the horse on the left side, horse drifts out just enough to make the 5 shift his action and there is no interference, and you buy a 1/2 length.  Fucking dunce!

I backed up my Spa Pick 5 with the pick 4 after losing in the first leg.. so let's hope for a BOMB in race 4.. the ticket was $28 bucks same numbers as the pick 5

I never play a Gulfstream Pick 6, but what the hell.. sorry there was an inquiry so late posting but here it is..
1,3,5,7/4,5,7/4,5/5/1,3,5,6,7/2,3,6,8 = $96 bucks

Same ticket for pick 5...$60 bucks

OK so $62 profit on the spa Pick 4, but an overall loss of $22 combining the pick 4 and 5 wagers there. $112 bet,$90 won. I really should have had that early pick 5 for $738. Oh well on to the next.. shit just got knocked out at Gulfstream in leg 3 by half a length to a horse that hadn't raced in a year and a half.. so lost $228 their in total. I've been knocking on the door there recently and we will kick it in soon.
