Now he wins the Garritty at Saratoga with a horse that went off a 44/1 FROM THE RAIL. What a month for him. From his interviews seems like a well spoken. thankfull man.[/quoteLike that Jerry Reed song from the 70's"When You're Hot, You're Hot"
Exactly ! He is very inconsistent at Pocono and Tioga but from what I see he drives hard when he is NOT the favorite. I've always called him the longshot kid. He must be betting the races . He knows how to win but he also knows how to stiff!
Inconsistent at Tioga??? He's the leading driver in wins, money , with a WHOPPPING .494 UDRS!!! Do some research before you post utter nonsense on here!
He is just another cheating driver. Also, he is driving against a bunch of clowns at Tioga. No competition there! That's why he is driving there and not any of the bigger tracks. He couldn't win shit at Meadowlands so he left that track. Pocono ,he wins here and there but super inconsistent. I do believe he is betting against himself regularly and pulls many stiff jobs. No doubt about it! most of his wins are with horses at double digit odds. Always has been with him!
Very capable driver but everyone needs to pump the brakes before enshrining him in the HOF.
Who mentioned him for the HOF??Boyd has to endure driving all classifications of horseflesh-from 7500 claimers, nw1000/4 to grand circuit stock and everything in between! A lot more difficult for Boyd compared to Dunn and the elite other grand circuit drivers. FYI, you follow what I own a part of. He drove for me twice with a win and a 2nd. Actually fun and serious to chat with before and after he drives your horse and hopefully he is the same way with others. I met Braxton 3 days before the Pepsi NA cup along with Cameron Capone as well as in the winner’s circle a week afterwards.
