Wow. What a stupid topic. Who cares about Ron Burke. He is the biggest doper in the business. He has the strongest pain medication that is totally undetectable he should be sitting next to nick surick. But the industry keeps letting crooks cash their checks and when they’re caught they just put their brother. Mother. Sister. Father down as trainer and never miss a week. If your horse can’t walk give it to him that horse will run off in 1:49 with no problem

If my memory is correct, wasn't Kakaley 2nd or 3rd banana on the Burke preference list?

Didn't get enough good drives from the 'leftovers' and tried to get better drives on his own!

Nothing to lose and everything to gain?

Aren't Tanneyhill and Eckley worse in retrospect to their amount of starts vs actually getting fines/suspensions?

Please feel free to add to the list here.

Its definitely pain meds. Cripples like Dayson dont race for anyone else. Feel bad for the person that bought Saulsbrook Genesis this week. Of course i been wrong before.

I am not posting you are either right or wrong.
I don't know!
What I am asking is about the nuts and bolts of administering this pain killer.
How do you physically give this to hundreds of horses racing at several race tracks over several decades.
Why has a fired groom, second trainer, or guy stabled in the next stall said "Hay this is whats going on".
How and when and by who do you give this pain killer without being seen?
I am just an old horse trainer still going around in circles. Sometimes Fast. Sometimes Half-Fast.

he had a positive test for oxycodone years ago but appealed it(maybe Taylor represented him) but he won because of the possible "environmental contamination"

the groom pissed in the stall

too big to fail

Soon they'll say the horse is not a doper but the actual drug dealer!  We're all so dumb  ngc3 !  When the welfare runs out Burke will head to Canada, where the natives, while typicality non violent will take him out of the equation as fast as you could snap your fingers.

It's their welfare, not his!   ;D

I have been saying this for years. Burke must be better at silencing people than the mob. You left out another avenue. What about pillow talk?

I would say Yannick #1, Page #2 and Wrenn Jr #3.. as I've said before once Miller comes back to Ohio next year, it'll be interesting to see how things play out

Very interesting. Page has elite talent in timing the wire IMO. I can't imagine he loses first call in ohio
