What's gross is the woman is no longer....he's sick.

Like in no longer, dead.  He doesn't even say, my deceased wife, before my wife passed, she paid the bills.  Even if everyone knows there is a social order on speaking of the deceased especially those close to you.

Yeh, being wealthy and powerful doesn't make someone a narcissist, but he sweats it.

He may need to have proof then, or otherwise how can that defense be allowed, she cannot be cross examined?

Correct. I was kinda stunned at just how cold he was with those answers. They saw through all his bullshit. It doesn't end with Kentucky either. This will get ugly fast.
Now the question is, just how far do I want to go with this???

Just A Note:

None of these guys know anything.
Faraldo/Banca....Joe didn't know.
Ford/Gillis....Mark didn't know.
Taylor/Eckley/Fishman....Howard didn't know.

Nobody noticed Deena Pittman who was the top dog in Indiana when Linkmeyer was investigating Howard and got tossed resigned today??? Coinkidink???

The answer is absolutely not. People said the same thing about Brooks, and Brooks has many, many more horses than Howard Taylor. Industry trade journals, magazines, broadcasters writers, wrote and spoke about what would happen to the bloodstock marketplace if Brooks went down, what would happen to tracks, and so on and so on. Taylor might want to have people believe it. Some trainers might believe it, but I don't think that's valid. They might have a vested interest in believing that. Others too might believe it or want to believe it. It is simply the Emperor's New Clothes. Nothing more.

In my opinion the sport and the business would be far better off without Howard Taylor.

Good for Kentucky! But I suspect NY, Ohio and Penn won't have the chops to follow and that's a shame. If they did you just know HT would re-jig his empire into a number company and then we could all sit back and watch petrelli nailed him again. If there's any hope for the sport to survive into the next twenty years ALL racing jurisdictions will need to man up like kentucky and say enough is enough.

It seems a fair question.

I believe the answer is probably yes.

Not for MP, he will take down HT

He is definitely making an impact and living rent free in HT’s head if the guy is mentioning his name a hearing.  ngc3

Never met the guy. First he has his "really really good friend' Tony Zubkoff call me. Not this? Maybe he wants to send me horses!  ngc3

If Kentucky had no qualms pinching Bob Baffert, Howard Taylor and anyone else has no shot. Kentucky is very proud of what they have accomplished in recent years moving both breeds forward, they will protect their product at all costs.

Great that Kentucky has made the moves they have.  Good and knowledgeable people on the board.  Now we just sit back and see what other states Mike has to kick in the butt to do what is right.    Go Mike, Go ,!!

Can’t compare the sport of kings and what they call “buggy racing”.
