Looks like the place to be for a matinee and a little hooky. Was @$300k handle today.I think humidity, rain tonight but by post, should be fast and beautiful.9 solid 40k stakes, 4 pace, 5 trot. 3 yo, C, G, F.Many of the top tier trainers, drivers.Started the week down $220, ok, they were bad result value plays. No chasing, just a fresh start, welcome to a brand new day!
Race 1 - The 5 and 6 I think have a problem, with a possible line up of 412, and if Purple Jesus rate's a bit better, the 1 might shake loose in the stretch and shock. The 2 behind him, possibly locked in, or not enough time. #1 the trainer / part owner 2 weeks off has to see this as a golden opportunity to be ready as his horse was doing a pocket 56 1/5 at the half last race. Burke's 5, Norman's 6 why expose them to speed duels, they took their time getting into gear last race, and they'll be shooting for those 6 figure purses.Perfect opportunity for 124, with the 1 on top. Crazy!
Nice analysis. Never even watched this place but I took the program and did some speedd handicapping.Race 1 I came up with #2 with the suck up rail trip.
Race 2 - The 3 Falcon first few seconds after the gate opened last week was a sharp left turn and banged wheels with Bourbon County and then ran to the right and then straightened out. Made a huge 4 wide move in this short stretch and destroyed 5 of these horses with ease. Lastly he shipped in a set his lifetime mark, now 2 weeks off. #7 shipped well, had an easy rated w2w rail trip. He didn't look great at the line. He prefers off the pace so we'll give him the benefit of the doubt. #5 Geremy Bobbitt's horse was caught behind a wall in the Falcon race and never had the best opportunity to win like the others. #2 capable and fresh, was qualifying with top 3 yos in early May.3/12467
Does this mean we can cross Ginpanzee Dancer off the Hambo list?
Don't see what's so wrong with the #1 in the 2nd , especially if you talking about leaving him out of the tri. I don't think so. We shall see. As a side note, I like the five in the seventh race [Delray Beach]as my shot of the day, though I only handicapped thru race 8.
