Edison Hatter
@Edison_1999_

Some personal news that June 27 will be last day working full time in racing. There are so many places and people that I am so grateful for and gratitude to, from Rosecroft to Freehold to In The Money Media to the Meadowlands to Yonkers and so many more. Simply, thank you.

Congrats on a job well done.  Since the "merry go round" starting with the departure of John Hernan, I enjoyed your race calls at Yonkers.  Always liked those fast first 26 quarters when you would call out "hello" lol.  Good luck to you.

As a race caller I struggled with him.

His dialect is tough to understand when he speeds up, at times mispronunciations .

But that's not on him, but on me and others.

In our native tongue, we're used to listening for the most part to people speaking the same.  We need people who are speaking English in other dialects to speak slower to fully understand, that's impossible for a race caller.

Give a listen to him calling the 2025 Borgata Final at Yonkers.  I heard at 1:35 Desperate Man off stride because I know who he meant, but it's not the way it sounded and if you're not an avid participant, you're getting lost.

Good Luck!

My most difficult discussion was speaking English with a man from Scotland, I only understood every third word.

Braveheart was a bit tough of a listen, but soooo goood!

That's why they had this genius playing with the Enterprise's warp drive, and just beaming people up and down.  Anything more and the show would of been called - "Lost in Deep Space"

Very knowledgeable!  A lot of others I’d rather see leave the game first!
