What I’m trying to figure out is-did this disaster win because he has supporters? Or because people were voting against Cuomo who’s an equal disaster.
Next we will hear Rainman2 is running for office.

RR70s....the NYC I grew up with and went to college there is long gone. It is loaded with illegals and criminals looking for free food, free housing, free education, and free health care. He has promised to defund the Police, have a citywide rent freeze, and only have city controlled groceries. He is a raving supporter of Hamas and detests the Police. Taxes will sky rocket and the current exodus of wealthy will continue to move to states like Florida and Texas. I expect him to win with about 55% of the vote in the general election. Most of my family and friends left in that shitty city are moving to both Broward and Palm Beach County to get away from the madness that is sure to come to the Big Apple.

Dougie-Everything you state is on target. Many I know left NY for Florida.
Sliwa is obviously a law and order guy but unfortunately he won’t win.
Adams running as an independent so I’m not sure if that helps or hurts him.
He’s no prize, but I’d take him. All anyone needs to know is AOC strongly endorses Mamdani. I guess he will win because all these other major cities have radical leftist’s.

RR70's.....it's been a wild ride for NYC. My dad (Rest In Peace) was a cop when we called it "Fun City". John Lindsey was mayor. A great guy with a slick way about him. Good looking with that JFK kind of  walk. As liberal as they come. But I never thought the pendulum would swing so far left toward the socialist way of thinking. Yes, it would seem that the middle of the road Dems/GOPer's are heading down to Florida. Or the Carolina's so they can get a taste of some cooler weather. They want to escape the taxes as NYC heads for it's downward spiral. I was there a couple of weeks ago for a comic book show. I'm a collector. We were warned to STAY AWAY FROM THE SUBWAYs! by the cops! I love Florida and I'm heading down for a couple of weeks.
