I thought since you brought up the Simpsons , you would know Mike. For what it's worth,
Mr. Burns is the elderly mega rich owner of the nuclear power plant and Smithers
[he's the guy in the green shirt in your picture] is his gay protege. When Mr. Burns approves
of something, he rubs his fingertips together and proclaims:"EXCELLENT." Now you know.

Pretty familiar with The Simpsons, they got it all covered.  ngc3

Harness Racing has always had fun entertainment and contests. If you grew up going to Monticello in the 70's and 80's, John Manzi was a legend drawing up all kinds of exhibitions and contests like Camel and Elephant races. I loved it and I applaud M1 for the Weiner dogs.

We're battling a 40 and under crowd who hide in basements in front of multiple gaming screens driving a truck that isn't there or fighting a war against robots and thinking they're soldiers. That was us back then. We used to race around the fire hydrant and light pole as kids between races while everyone's parents were lined up for the windows. Remember "Up With People"? I still can't get that fucking song out of my head. And 4th of July was awesome.

Surprised Hanover Shoe Farms isn't sponsoring it then...

That's a good name for a colt, Weiner Hanover.

One of the highlights of the season at Grand River Raceway in Ontario !!
And it brings out young families.

What is more advantageous in racing a long slim weiner or a thick girthy weiner? Sounds like a fun boys night out

That 4th of July fireworks display at Monticello was great, first class. Also, on 4th of July they had double header day/night racing cards sometimes with as many as 14 races each.
