Jackie Davis hurt in spill @ finger lakes    recovering at  a Rochester NY hospital  banged up pretty bad

I typically could care less with how athletes get paid but jockeys and UFC fighters should get all they could. Very tough life with the danger of the profession and having to make weight everyday. Get well soon JD  tmbz1

I was at the track the day Robbie Davis and Mike Venezia- RIP were in the terrible accident.
Robbie couldn’t ride for many years and moved back to Idaho. I believe he came back and rode in California for a while before returning to NY. It’s amazing how his 3 kids are all Jockeys today.
