If someone were to decide they wanted to monitor who visits a website...they would do what is called an IP scan. Not something I know anything about, I've heard. But when it's done you see ALL the IPs that are viewing the site. So I guess if they were logged in at one point and someone was able to connect an IP with an account, if that same person were to view the said website without logging in they would still see the IP.....or so I've heard.....

When I was asking them if it's possible to find out who someone is on these sites. You know like people who have been dragging others through the mud for years, talking about their families, contacting others families, making threats, making racist remarks and just talking non stop shit about everyone while safely hiding who they are. They said "dude that's easy". I was like dudes you serious? They also told me that if someone were to do something like "watch" over a website there would be noticeable slowdowns in the sites performance. But they did say that would only happen with a website that uses a cheaper offshore server with low bandwidth. So that's definitely not here.....
