East Coast vs Midwest
« on: June 04, 2025, 02:52:18 PM »
Marcus Miller was so overmatched on the East Coast but a major factor in the Midwest, proving how much better NJ-NY drivers are.

Hoosier is not the only track in Midwest. Let him or others try the Miami-Dayton-Scioto circuit.

The Hoosier Park drivers colony is one of the worst in North America. Trace Tetrick will win four a night, just showing up. Tetrick, Ross, and Luna, that's it. Kyle Dingdong, Mucus Miller, and John Suxall Delong, are three of the worst. The sad thing is they win there, because the drivers are so bad. At Northfeld, Delong once got a horse parked the mile from the 2 spot. The horse? Little Rocket Man.

As a whole…..probably, but there are individuals who are head and shoulders above drivers on either side.

Marc St. Louis for one has the talent and is better than many of the top drivers on east coast tracks

yeah sure.

I heard St. Louis drove Karl and the horse finally won a race.

(Oh wait, that would never happen   In what universe would Karl actually win a race?)

Hoosier has gotten more and more difficult to watch in the last two years, and I blame the driver colony

Every night it seems there are 6 or 7 huge favorites (1/1 or shorter) that easily get to the lead, then go 29 and change to the half and the race is over.

Gone are the days of first over before the turn. Zero real movement until the top of the stretch.

A big reason the top connections have widened their gap on the rest is that drivers refuse to challenge them on the lead.

Every horse 10/1 or higher is driven to try to get a check, never to have a shot to win

Marc St Louis Jr. drives with the best Ohio / Midwest has to offer & does very well against them.
