It's the racing commissions, judges and not to mention local horsemen's associations who have failed us. They're here to be the governing body and represent the horsemen. Thats why they have those positions. But they just look the other way. None of them want to rattle the tree to see what might fall out! They all know what's going on but don't want to enforce the rules because of their buddies might get in trouble. The horsemen are so used to the bearding owner and trainer wise they just accept it and move on. Most are probably their friends as well.

Plante used to drive in Delaware on a regular basis then stopped and switched to Maryland. Recently he's driven 1 or 2 horses at Harrington.

I saw where Tomlinson had one in Sunday night of MacMillans that raced like a monster. And Hall trained exclusively for him. Tomlinson has won like 4 out of 100 races all year and now be interested to see the wins go up.

And the MRC and Judges just Ok it!

  • Bitter Truth: That Golden Tempo , I'm afraid is  a money burner. Gets so far back. Was in range but just hung and raced even in the stretch. Didn't see a Derby winner in there in my opinion.
