Here's why Howard acted so impulsively last night before I got the call from his "very good friend".
He never thought the records he turned over to the government that can bury ALL his partners would ever be released. Or heard outside the courtroom. Two videos, my livestream laying it out and then the actual ten years of records by Equestology. The commissions can't ignore this. It's BAD.

Now the question is, just how far do I want to go with this???

It looks like Taylor  purchased a whole lot of BB3.  The check payments show the partners did to.Wow!!! There is an honor amongst  those thieves.

Unfortunately I don't think it's going to play out like Mike and many would like it to. In every case, there's always the Jeff Gillis, the proverbial fall guy that just didn't think it through and falls victim to a wire tap. But Howard Taylor isn't stupid and operates on another level, as seen by his defamation suit against Gural. So unless you can produce a wiretap, similar to that of Jeff Gillis', it will become very difficult to prove he knew that charges from a vet were for some banned substances. trainer responsibility and owner's responsibility are two very different things in the harness world. I think the likely outcome is he will have to answer to the Dowse testimony that he was purposely and knowingly using Josh Marks, s suspended trainer at the time, to train his horses as a beard. What will be very interesting to see though is what line the commissions take with Taylor. Will it be firm as with Gillis, that is, you're done and if you want to appeal so be it but for now you can't participate. Or will they consult their legal teams and respect due process. Running over guys like Gillis, Allard and Surick is one thing, taking on a seasoned and well funded attorney is quite another. I just can't see them taking a risk of losing a multi-million dollar lawsuit which is sure to come.

I'd rather die trying as opposed to lying down in submission.

The big question should be how does the small guy ever have a chance in racing? Knowing that not only do you start off with cheaper less bred animals, but you also have to compete with high power octane in those better animals??? Kinda makes you want to just say screw it why bother even trying to race.

If what's happening right now doesn't have the traction to take down at least a few of these serial cheaters, NOPE. You see what Jeff Gural posted to HRU? This doesn't seem like someone who is concerned about you guys. He's more concerned with who takes credit for what his team didn't do. I emailed him and asked would have preferred it never been done? Or is he just angry a loser like me had the balls to walk right into the fire. Sad.

I truly admire you Mike but I think you're going down the wrong road taking shots at Gural. Is he my favourite person in racing, no but he has tried to get rid of the cheats and everyone should at minimum acknowledge the effort. I think you highlighting who did the real work is a tad petty and just serves to give ammunition to those that are trying to discredit you. I respect what you're trying to do and sincerely wish you the best, both in terms of outcome and your personal health. Moving forward, it's cool to acknowledge the agents who brought the charges to light but stay focus on spitting facts and let the audience judge those accordingly.

A list of names and he has excluded like 4 people.  Good job Jeffie you lying fuck.  You have let back cheat after cheat and still allow a fat Swede to continue to race at your tracks despite a 2 year old positive.  Good job Jeffie!

32?  A lot more names than that on there.  How about the Bongiornos being banned and let back in?

Gural said that two of the people had their counsel reach out to him to inquire about the suspensions. Maybe those where the two and after discussions were permitted back by Jeff. According to Jeff, there was a path but only after some context as to the relationship with Fishman was established.I also think those two mentioned didn't purchase BB3 off of Fishman which seem to be the breaking point with Jeff. Again, not disputing irregularities in Jeff's position of who was barred and who got a pass, just trying to have an educated discussion as to why. I think it's important that we stay laser-focused on the various commissions that did nothing with this damaging info.

.

It’s owners like Prevost that we compete against. There are many others like him and we all know one at least by name. When he sells one on ongait i value them as un buyable as who could trust anything these people sell.

Well said and couldn't agree more. Most owners have a job or business and get into the game with others to enjoy some free time. Most just want to break even and treat the barn staff well. Then you have the others who rarely own with others, are on top of everything and will not accept poor results. Those are well known and we should strive to get rid of them at all costs and any trainer associated with them for some period of time. They, along with the select vets who are always associated with the high percentage outfits, are the scourge of the sport. I just have no time for the lazy and indifferent commissions that haven't protected the other 90% of the industry. Pathetic and good for Petrelli for sticking his neck out to hopefully get things going in the right direction.
