While it is his goal to eliminate FEMA and increase funds for a state response, it is ill conceived at best. Many GOP Senators who live in states prone to disasters won't allow it. FEMA has 20,000 employees that can increase to 50,000 (Contract employees) during a disaster. No state can mobolize that many people as quickly as FEMA can.

I live in upstate ny   close to  the  U of R were some of the most gifited doctors  graduate . many asian students who stay on and serve the community   they get no  aid  and take  studies serious. The "blanket decision" to suspend all foreign students going to Harvard is short sighted and stupid. I have been down to Harvard during the "protests". As foreign students who are guests here in our country destroy property, yell "kill Jews" and "Death to America", i have little sympathy for them being sent back home. But I met many foreign students in the crowd, who were repulsed by the hateful protestors. Once again Trump has tried to correct a situation with a sledgehammer. Very sad.

Would you be ok if these Universities were endorsing the KKK to kill blacks.     You are correct that someone died Ashli Babbit was shot dead on January 6th, Murdered by a Capitol Police officer. Her family was awarded 5 million dollars by The United States of America for her wrongful death!

talkstohisself... ..If you mean the article "Over 550 Rabbis, cantors, sign letter accusing Trump of abusing anti-semitism issue", I just read it. As a secular Jew and a Zionist, it's almost laughable. There are thousands of thousands of Rabbi's and Jewish leaders who support him. What you have is "self-loathing" Jews, usually lackys of the far left, who hate their Jewishness almost as much as they hate themselves. I can tell you that Trump may be the most popular President in Israels existence. I have family there. They tell me the majority of Israelis love him. What Trump has realized is that anti-semitism has been cultivated and nurtured by far left professors who never look at the issues from both sides. They have seeded impressionable young students with hate for not only Israel, but the United States. And since Freedom Of Speech is a protected right for American citizens, foreign born students with green cards, and special visa's are here as guests only. So it is ultimately up to the Sec. Of State to decide which "guest"  stays and goes.
