The Future of Horse Racing
« on: May 10, 2025, 12:21:34 PM »
Racing horses in this day and age is barbaric. I can't speak for other equine disciplines but it is time to end the cruelty. Haven't we evolved enough to find other forms of entertainment that doesn't involve the daily death of horses. It is sad and disgusting what is happening to these horses and anyone who approves of it is scum. I guarantee 100 or so years from now, people are going to read about horse racing and deem it as deplorable. All you have to do is look at a racing commission database and read the stats of horses suffering injury or death and that is just the documented cases. Anyone in the business knows what is happening to these animals when their earning career is over. It needs to stop.

Like this one with USTA Director Schnittker. I won't pin all the blame on him, the Goshen turns aren't friendly to all the babies getting close. This one got progressively worse as the mile went along, by the time he was pulling up he was toasted. And yes, I have the whole mile. This time it went straight to where the last one went and that's how it will stay. Nothing will be done about it I'm sure. But I'll keep showing them. Call Ray and see if this one is for sale already. https://youtu.be/N1ntCUtbl9Y
Now the question is, just how far do I want to go with this???

“In this day”. Where did all the racehorses go when they were finished racing in your days? Racehorses are bred to race once their racing career is over they gotta go somewhere.

How about in THIS day. Without welfare how much revenue does harness racing generate above its costs to operate? If you don't understand that, how much money would harness racing LOSE each day without welfare. And, if it were to end tomorrow, what would the effect be on society and the general public? I repeat, THE GENERAL PUBLIC, not stall muckers of America.
Now the question is, just how far do I want to go with this???

I couldn’t agree more with you Mike It is so sad. What is even sad to me is when a horse races his/her heart out and get sent to the Amish the Amish works them to death and then send them to the killers.

After reading your comment, I would usually respond by calling you a loser or a douchebag but since I know you and know about your health issues, I will give you a pass. Listen, ever since you contracted ass cancer you have been tough to deal with but in all honesty, you ignored the warnings about having anal sex with that many partners. Now you are taking out your frustrations on other people which isn't right but I understand. Your mom told me you checked yourself into an anal addict rehab facility and I want to wish you all the luck in the world. Talk to you soon Fudgy. Peace!
