Does anyone here remember Seminole Downs?  My family had a nice farm in Reddick about an hour away. My mother and father were into babies. They would send a few every year to Seminole to be broken. I was into claiming, however, when I was home I would journey to Seminole to check on the progress AND to pick up all the hay bills as most couldn't afford them.  Does that fit into this narrative?

After reading your comment, I would usually respond by calling you a loser or a douchebag but since I know you and know about your health issues, I will give you a pass. Listen, ever since you contracted ass cancer you have been tough to deal with but in all honesty, you ignored the warnings about having anal sex with that many partners. Now you are taking out your frustrations on other people which isn't right but I understand. Your mom told me you checked yourself into an anal addict rehab facility and I want to wish you all the luck in the world. Talk to you soon Fudgy. Peace!

Ughh ohhh. Did Dan Nants wish this on him ?

The future of horse racing is bleak. As long as slot money rolls in they will race. The sport will continue to see track closures. When the money goes away it will be ugly. I don't see anyone with ideas stepping up. Learning how to handicap takes time & patience. The average person today has neither.

You are extremely wrong. Thousands of guys belong to fantasy leagues and spend many hours every day working on their rosters. They know the players will give 100%. Most people don’t like horse or harness racing. They know horses are drugged. They know many don’t try. They know it’s a huge waste of their time and money so they stick to the sports.
Don’t expect any new ideas. Those in the know don’t want anything to change.

Out of curiosity. Who is tasked with making sure all human athletes are giving 100% every time?)

Their teammates, the owners, the league commissioner, fans

You are comparing apples to oranges. Thousands of guys don't know or care about harness racing. They understand sports. That's because they watch it.
Handicapping a horse race is not the same. It takes way more time & is virtually impossible for those who have no knowledge of the sport.

the stars don't dress for half the games something called maintenance days
