Rarely we chat about him
Very fine trot rally tonight's r10 Northfield with Smile High Jesse.
RACED 4 WIDE INTO FINAL TURN..passing about 7 of them to get an $18.00 winner.

Sure you need a little 'help' in race. Like a horse giving you spot on rail early in event to save ground and a collapsing front end and that precious chance to get off that rail before that final turn and so you can really 'fly'.

Anyway, nice see Beeler with all the chops in that trot. That kind of exciting race great to see

Hopefully he had a good bet down, last time I saw him in Ohio he sure looked like he could use the money.

Had the trifecta. Caught him on that horse last year he had the 9 hole and was 65/1.

nice tri $$ get for the fans..

When they run 10 horses at Northfield..oh you didnt know they did. Double trailer Hi5s.

In that 10th Tuesday night, keying the #2, the best horse (but also the rustiest) second, was the secret. Merriman went onto the bottom #3 horse and made that slot work, and again Beeler's #4 was tight and ready off drop,,,though still needed the exciting 4-wide sweep to get up. Good for him. More Northfield action. Nothing wrong with that.
