The State Racing Commissions
« on: April 25, 2025, 09:06:13 PM »
Week after week when the list of positive tests are revealed, you have to wonder what in the hell is going on. Meth, oxycodone and testosterone are just a few of the drugs that have been detected lately. How are these trainers not being arrested? I can promise you are headed to jail if a cop pulls you over and finds this shit in your car. Shouldn't the states be required to contact law enforcement?

Giving it to a horse is quite a different story from a human taking it and somehow the horse ingests it through contamination.  Why aren’t the humans arrested in that case?

As far as I am concerned, if a horse comes up positive for some type of felony drug like meth, then before the trainer is notified, a search warrant should be issued to search that trainer's home, car, barn etc. This contamination bullshit makes me laugh.

Just race in Delaware. Nothing will happen to you there if caught with positives.

That's not true anymore, several guys got 6-month suspensions back in November for positive tests.

There should be NO testing ever , just gas em and go (That's right I said it ) Drugs can not be stopped , so why bother , the only trainers that win a drug outfits , so just stop testing . If every driver tried and every horse was loaded up , racing would be great again  tmbz1

I know that's normally what happens but for the 4 guys who were suspended, none of their horses have raced anywhere since.
