I love how one story always defines a career, LOL. I guess on that one horse, the q driver was simply better than Wally. That's BS. A one off incident. Nothing more. Minor leagues huh?.....didn't fare well in the major leagues?.....well, let's see.....off the top of my head.....this Hall of Fame driver has.....

A Hambo Oaks, Kentucky Futurity, Woodrow Wilson, a few Nat Ray Trots (I think), Trotting Classic Oaks, Matron, and what, 5 Breeders Crowns? Oh, and the Elitlopp. I don't know. I find it hard to label him as a minor league guy. He never really wanted to be a top grand-circuit catch driver-----but when he got the opportunity, he certainly produced.
Finally, a statement with FACTS, instead of ridiculous opinions

Wally was much better when he drove at Pompano.  He joined the corrupt clan at Saratoga.  How about that last race stiff job?? Backed up to get 5th LMAO  ..Glad I haven't bet anything there in a while now.  Insane stuff going on

4 people told you Wally didnt stiff that horse. Stop making up your nonsense.

Wally is way overrated.
When he first came to Saratoga and had to drive against Parker, Story, Crawford, Coppola, Belanger, he struggled.
Now he's beating up on kids with little foundation on the path to being a top driver.

When you get to be his age you're living off your reputation from the past.

That's not necessary Cush Push. Cobalt Kenny is not a fighter. Good guy but thin and weak, which is not a bad thing but it wouldn't be fair to fight him.

I like Wally.

I've always liked him. Don't know him very well, but after 40 years you get to know people in this industry to some extent, LOL. Ironically, I never had that much of a chance to use him (NYSS) more than a couple of times. I wish him all the best.
