If he did, which I extremely doubt, the trifecta and superfecta prices weren't out of line at all. I find it hard to believe a driver making $600,000 a year is betting at all especially against himself, way too much to lose doing that.
The top drivers like Bartlett don't bet their own money. They have clients that do it in exchange for info. Bartlett was caught and should never be allowed to set foot on M1 property but read the Bible..."Money is the root of all evil"..Translation..Th e people who rule are complicit and compromised.
Maybe....I just don't see how he gets anything financially out of stiffing a horse compared to his income.Keeping a horse in the same class and cashing checks...that I get.
There are other benefits to putting a bad line on one. Think about it.
The proof used to be kept in the center console of a white Lexus.
Someone gives him an envelope with $1000 or $2500 or whatever it is in it to not be on the board. How does that not make him money? More than he’d get for winning a race in that class.
Cash a ticket not being on the board that night, cash another ticket on that horse at higher odds down the road. People can’t be this clueless can they mike?
