Roger Huston

Jesus Christ, I was watching Race 6 at The Meadows and he says "Welcome Home" as Spitfire Oversees wins by open lengths. Oversees and he in his "Dumb as a Rock" voice thinks it's overseas.

And then to remove all doubt about he needs to retire. He still pronounces FR at the end of the French horse.  Hey dumbass, the FR is silent like the N and the A and all the other alphabetical letters after a horse's name.

Roger should have retired decades ago and been replaced at the Little Brown Jug. He's nothing but a screaming blowhard.

He should be muzzled, permanently banned from all race tracks and fairs including and most importantly Delaware.

Agreed, his calls get worse every year. The thing is Delaware will let him call races there as long as he wants to. I have no idea who will eventually replace him. The backup announcer was Sam McKee.. RIP.. now it's Settlemoir. Maybe Barry Vicroy who calls at Scioto, Dayton and Miami Valley. He isn't horrible, but not the greatest either. He seems disinterested lots of the time, although his call of Always B Miki vs Wiggle It Jiggleit was pretty good.

He's well past his prime, not attentive and responsive, but he'll keep going as long he wants to. It sounds like he still wants to, LOL. He is more working based upon his legacy and past.

He could at least wipe the drool off his mouth. Satan gonna jam a pitchfork up his ass soon to call races in Hell and take his tacky gold rings.

Roger Huston has done more for harness racing than anyone especially all of this board combined.

What has he done for harness racing other than hang around too long and scream like a crazed lunatic?

I know dozens of big bettors who have quit going to their simulcast outlets for the sole reason of having to listen to that ass hole big mouth , trust me , he has drove thousands away

No doubt he's an ambassador for the sport. Whether you think he's a good one or not is up to you. But, the guy lives and breathes the sport. Without question.

Did you ever meet him in person?
He's a smug, rude, nasty mofo.
