Why are people so caught up on an over weight washed up has been of a 60 something year old attempted murderer?

agree

but Walter brings back warm and fuzzy memories from the 80s and early 90s--and for most of us gray beards-we dont have too many nails to hang our hat on after all these years

watching the industry spiral down is sad for all of us

as far as my memories of Case-he doesnt bring back warm and fuzzy feelings for me-i acknowledged his winning percentage . but i i didnt bet YR much when he was averaging over 5 wins every night for a few years-kicking them regularly and they let him do it

i recall a story when he helicoptered over to M1 from YR then flew back...NJ wanted a piss test but Walter ran and took off before they could get one--it was a top Open horse-i cant remember might have been Cambest

There are many other individuals in the business with questionable character too!

Maybe people should start naming some other individuals and see what will be said and discussed about them.

Glad to see Casey get his first win at Plainridge today. Was kind of cool as some of the fans yelled their congrats from the rail. He ain't the guy I watched 40 years ago. But is was fun seeing him in the "Winners Circle". Good luck Casey!

you all say kicking
you act like he getting a running start and booting these horses. that couldnt e further from the truth.
i was once told by a multiple national dash winner that lots of drivers "kick", he said probably most do. its not real kicking.lets get that straight.
he was targeted at lots of tracks cause people making a big deal of him "kicking" horses.
if he tickled their ears with a whip would that be a fine?

With what he showed yesterday, you'll see him getting more drives. Father time has obvioulsy  taken its toll, but the natural talent is still there. He will fit there.

He will get more drives but the talent he once had isn't there anymore. It showed the past few years when he drove in Maine.

It was Cambest, he won the Presidential final , Dan Kramer owed him. I was at Meadowlands that night we finished 6 th in there but Case did not fly he drove, he was supposed to take the shuttle back to the drivers room under the grandstands but climbed over the fence where the shuttle bus parked.

I don’t see him being in the top 5. His prime has long ago past by.

It was fitting that both of those drives were on trotters.  I had mostly nice mid-class trotters over the years and he was one of the best at teaming them.

Walter Case is a piece of shit and doesn't belong at any racetrack. He gave up that PRIVILEGE when he tried to kill a HUMAN BEING. Don't give me that shit that he did his time. If you believe that bullshit then I guess you have no problem if a pedophile who did his time babysits your kids.

Can we finally admit that Walter no longer gets anything extra out of a horse?  If he’s on the best, he will be right there at the wire.  But adding Walter Case is in no way a betting angle.  Unless it’s to not bet the horse now!   tmbz1
