AMC says Dr Brown was going to try and save him. That video says horse was calm and intelligent enough not to panic and thrash around.

He probably could have used a break after racing hard as a 3 year old rather than just keeping him rolling.

I only saw his comments on youtube because I was looking at Northfield Park and saw he was racing and watched the race. I wondered at the time when he broke without being interfered with that something was wrong, I wasn't watching that closely but it was obviously a bad step so I went to his site an hour or two later and he had an update.

That horse if he gets saved will because of his nature and that he didn't panic when it happened. He always said what a perfect horse he was for a stud and he had the intelligence to know not to thrash around and do further damage.

I sure hope he's able to be saved.

Update from this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2J5q2zO88o

33 screws, 2 plates Said they sent him a video of Arson walking on it. From 20 percent chance to 50 percent

Now he has to wait for the prospect of infection (Laminitis which we know is the end if they get it)

What a sweet horse, intelligent enough on the night to stand with AMAC for 10 minutes with his ears up, looking around while he waited to load him when it happened.

The cannon bone was shattered and what a remarkable job that vet did putting what pieces he could back together.

Praying for that horse to come through, because like you all, we love animals and me in particular with cats, and dogs and when my roommate died, I promised I would take care of his cat when I moved and brought her with me. She's 15 and spends all day growling at my 2 cats they attacked the shit out of her yesterday because she hissed and they got sick of her bullshit, LOL.  All 3 have been around each other going on 9 years but when I moved, she thought she could start bossing the two brothers around.

Would be great if he heals enough to service a small book of mares somewhere
