Ironic how the big t-bred days get both big handle (all-in) AND on-track attendance. The s-breds get the former and not the latter. Somehow, people work during the day, but they still get what, 15k to 20k people, who go to the track during the Spa meet. It's what, about a 40 day meet, and they get 1m people and handle about what, 3/4 of a billion dollars?

I guess some parts of the sport and industry aren't dead. LOL.

Only the Spa and Keeneland have any real attendance anymore.

At Pocono on the biggest day of the year, there were about 25 people not counting the owners in the clubhouse. An embarrassment for the sport.

I would call it a good representation of harness racing  more than an embarrassment.

25 people on the biggest day of the year in the prime days of summer.  They had two food truck but one left because there wasn't any business.

Anyone know what the supposed/alleged attendance was for the Hambo last year? Thanks.

At Cumberland in Maine, if there's 100 fans, it's a "Monster Day". LOL! Harness racing is in pretty rough shape in the Pine Tree State.

Last time I attended live there was about 6-7 years 15 max, crazy!

Mohawk average 100 people as well

There are days at Saratoga where if you fired a shot gun off...you wouldn't hit a soul

Meadowlands has a calendar giveaway every year, and they say it's for the first 2500 people. That way they can give out free calendars each racing night until Hambo day.
