Trainer Darren Olsen, for being the trainer of record on sample #E721259 taken from BLACK HOPE on February 26th, 2025 at Rosecroft Raceway, was found to contain Dexamethasone at a concentration of 18.6 pg/mL+- 0.55 pg/mL. The ARCI threshold for this controlled therapeutic substance is 5 pg/mL. As a result, Olsen is fined $500.00 and must return all purse monies. Additionally, BLACK HOPE is disqualified, finishing first and placed eighth. All purse monies must be returned within 72 hours of this issuance, and all fines are due within 10 days of the ruling. COMAR: 09.10.03.04.B. 1/2 Multiple Medication Violation (MMV) points assessed.
