Caesars wanted out of racing in Florida by closing Pompano, yet they sponsored the banquet which took place in Florida.  The irony.

They still have a presence----Hoosier, Horseshoe Indy, Harrah's Chester, Scioto, and aren't they opening up some new t-bred track? I would suspect they want to keep their foot in the door for any new casino/location that is up for grabs, racetrack or not.
