I have to say, while I am not the type who always sees a conspiracy, this is an eyebrow raise. I still say Pena will be a non-factor, but if these two are an alliance, that could be something. I hope it's not.

Don’t care much for any of the family. But y’all keep saying Bob stole millions from others. And want to blame Gural for not prosecuting. He is a track owner not DA. If someone stole my money I would be going after them not the track owner where he races

I just find it amazing he walks around the paddocks and no one has the nerve to do something as far as Mr Gural he's very forgiving with that family

The guy had a BK and that played out the way it played out. Plenty of people declared bankruptcy, and seamlessly, with zero interruption stayed in business. All they did was change the name of their operating business. OK, so this was a personal BK. What the daughter did, didn't do, what the son did, didn't do----has nothing to do with dad and his license.

Listen, I am not a fan of his at all, but what did he exactly do that commands being banned from the industry? Is he a convicted felon? If he stole money from people, was he found guilty. The DA of NJ is no wallflower. He's a serious crimefighter. So is the US Attorney for NJ. Him even more. So what did Bob do? Positive tests? More than others. Do I think the business would be better off without him? Yes, I do. But you can't ban him for that. Can Gural ban someone simply because he wants to? Yes, he can. But without real cause, real standing, just by saying private property rights, to me, that's a slippery slope. Also, if you simply say "conduct detrimental to business"----that is purely subjective and open to debate in litigation. So if you have a reason to ban him, make it a very, very good one. That said, even though I say good riddance, I'd like to hear why.

The bottom line is many owners flock to the high percentage trainers. They have been doing this for years & years. Sadly a good part of them don't need the money. The greed has killed the sport. This family exemplifies what is wrong with sport.

Deborah has been around for a while.  She was involved with Allard and also Peña (I think).

Deborah is Lou’s girlfriend as well as training and owning some together partners. They have been out at wind gap for years. Lou still has a glass of Hennessy in his hand on most nights . Helps him sleep .
