I do find it odd that President Trump has been in office for 5 weeks now the Ukraine war has been ongoing for 3 years and it’s now all Trumps fault.

FYI, Trump said he could stop this before he became POTUS!

FYI, yet again this is day 40 of the Trump presidency and things got worse between Russia and Ukraine, not better!

We deal in the here and now and not the past!  This is on Trump's watch, please accept this!

Call it good, call it bad,'BUT' it is going to bring this war to a head. Plain and simple!
Here's the deal. Take it or leave it. Like Trump said, 'We're out and you can fight it out'.
The talk of who has given aid to Ukraine , with these guys comparing their accounts of
overall $$ spent and from who. The 'WHOLE' rest of Nato is basically matching what the
USA has given. We have to stop pissin $$ away on an endless lost cause.

I loved it when Vance said Zelensky was disrespecting the Oval Office as he sat there disrespecting the Ukraine president and talking to him like he was an 8th grade drop out! Give some and you'll get some in return JD!

As I get older, I love the old slogans more and more. In this instance "Beggars can't be choosers." is the perfect fit. 11.wp

He’s got a lot of you fooled! Prior to his political career, starting in 2019, Zelensky was known as a comedian and actor. While he earned a law degree, he never practiced law.

And Trump didn't learn anything @ Wharton!
Your point is?

My point is he came to the US knowing that the rare earth deal had no security guarantees attached. Why did he come than? He wanted to blow this up and a lot of you fell for his act.

Stock market go thud. Dow Down 800. S&P Russell Nasdaq been doing worse. Meanwhile eggs all time high JD Vance is no longer talking about his kids loving eggs and Trump plan mentions getting a chicken, really. Inflation up. Abandoned Ukraine, said Putin was unfairly persecuted. Babies dying of malaria , people dying of AIDS , children starving due to aid programs being cut. DOGE firing VA suicide prevention workers. Crypto scams galore. Sounds like he is doing a fine job.

My take is that Zelensky was furthering his own rhetoric and agenda, posturing, etc.----and simply going off-script to so speak----so that he could get the US to appear to the world the way he wanted. Nice try. If you didn't see his efforts as trying to re-frame, renegotiate, or whatever you want to call it in your game of semantics-----then you are oblivious to what really happened.

That said, it is very ironic, and transparent to me that the entire Ukraine situation is being blamed on Trump. If it's not about the last 6 weeks, then what is his fault? What happened while Biden was in office? Also, trying to control the support you give to Ukraine, and cutting off that support because you no longer believe in the rhetoric and mission being put forth, is not an unconditional support of Russia.

Bloomberg reports that 3.4 trillion has been wiped off the stock market since Trump was elected.

You left out Canada not selling any electricity to the US in response to the tariffs.

Canadian energy kept "the lights on for 1.5 million homes and manufacturing [facilities] in New York, Michigan and in Minnesota."

Anybody here affected?

Yep, that idiot does not understand the fallout from this, and he just responded by saying he will increase them further if Canada and Mexico retaliate.

The USA will be blinking before Canada does. Electricity, oil, Potash, and car parts will bring this economy to a standstill.

Watch him backtrack.

That will never happen imo. Just a lot of bluster from some politician.
