Mohawk Monday
« on: February 17, 2025, 06:30:53 AM »
Race#6-#6 DREBIN 5-1 ML Has been plodding away since joining this outfit. Pretty competitive race tonight, see him leaving the gate sitting much closer to the front.

Race#10-#4 WRITE ABOUT NOW 4-1 ML ***BEST BET*** Liked him on the barn change last start, got stuck behind access full cover on a night with brutal conditions. Picks up McNair tonight, will get a better trip then last start but the odds will dramatically decrease.

Best of luck!  tmbz1

Looks like another playable card...I've been doing the work nightly there...a lot of value there recently.

Your best bet---like you said is second start for Fellows, with McNair driving tonight, looking for improvement and a better trip. At first glance, I was not a fan of this race. I am not done yet, but it was just a weak field, LOL. Lyle's horse came from a different zip code to only get beat a couple last start, but he doesn't like to win. Unreliable.

Good luck all!

I look for JMac to have a HUGE night.  Besides being clearly the most talented driver, he has a bunch of seemingly LIVE drives.  Over/Under looks like about 5 for JMac wins.  I'll take the over.

Tough luck JT ..Those kind hurt the worst, when you get the single home and have
four in the finishing legs.

when announcing how many times a night ( its about 4 -5) as a horse springs to the lead does rozma say "and that horse really got bet down late" , as in after the wings folded

Middleton thinks it all clean--calls them "flashplayers"

they bet after 12 seconds after the race has already happened

it is not a coincidence

It's going to be the 'UNDER' on wins for JMac , Mohawk Mac, with three wins going into the last.

JMac drove like he took 3 Xanax and then put stone gloves on so he couldn't feel the reins.  Very tentative and poor decisions; horses didn't seem to be "feeling" him, especially on the trotters (only trotter he won with was a horse who layed over the field and he just slowly nudged to the line.)  I guess we all have "off" nights, but his was a doozy.

How about the horse of Henry's that broke, went inside 12 pylons, came back to finish 4th, and was not thrown out.
