Our friends tell us nothing is happening in the New York / New Jersey area . First race at the swamp should be on the track and qualifiers done . Meanwhile the sports book doesn’t have any room . Gural banking as usual just like the freehold subsidy went in his pocket and clown mark ford backed it .

Now we hear no snow in tri state area until midnight . Definitely a move by management to bank with no overhead . Jeff can cry all he wants he’s not losing money tonight the handle at the Sportsbook pays little and otten for the year .

[The Unstable]

The forecast was for snow early evening.  The Sportsbook is inside at last I checked. If they carded to go and had to stop in the middle the horsemen would not only not make money but would have to travel back in dangerous conditions.   The people at the sports book live close by and aren’t driving trucks and trailers with live animals in them and as soon as the weather turns they can go home. Not so much when you are scheduled in Race 10 at 1030 pm. Your complaint is silly.  And to make it worse yet it’s snowing already now at 830 and has been awhile. Go look at a current weather map.

There was 3 inches reported in East Rutherford at 11PM.  It started here at 8 PM and we are an hour or more north of there so Id say the weather was as advertised.
