He is back to driving but for how long? He got days 2 weeks ago, I heard a rumor he got 30 days lastnight . Tonight R3 he is out there thrashing and he takes out Dan Noble. Noble lucky he didn't get hurt. My guess he will be back to fair license after this incident.

Not to defend him too much, 'cause that was pretty aggressive cowboy stuff but races were cancelled
after that race. Gotta think that played some part in it. On a side note, could that have been 'KARMA'
coming to town to pay Noble a visit?

Funny, but Noble is as dangerous as anyone on the track these days.  He should’ve gotten a long vacation for the couple of accidents he’s caused.

Was responsible for the cancellation of almost entire race card at MVG last night, costing people a lot of money. He’s a liability and hopefully they’ll bar him from pari-mutual racing permanently soon before he kills somebody out there.

I don't think the race was the reason. I think temps crashing and ice forming fast was the reason. But the track took a beating that race. Inquiry, no contest, posted payoffs and took them down. If you bet online you got paid but if you bet live they couldn't do anything but bring you ticket back thurs to cash it. 345pm drivers meeting today ..."We need bombs today, if you are not 10-1 or better your horse tied up, bled". Lol

You forgot about Hawk. But that's been awhile back i don't recall Ward involved in the set up race. He might of been but I don't remember. Ward was worried about nose candy.

I don’t think he was involved with that.  I think his long vacation was don’t multiple human drug positives

David Hawk, Randy Tharps, and Jim Panteleano were all involved in that suspicious race.

I believe Ward is 60 now. Far past his prime now.

Ward had the ‘pleasure’ to race at Northfield in the early-mid 90’s and getting the 5th/6th best drive in most races. Case, I believe Brett Miller, Grismore, and  David Hawk were also better connected with certain trainers too!
Tough to make a living then and now especially with the money they go for now.

Can someone verify the purses then. Many small purses where gambling was better than your 5%!

Back in the earlier days of off track personal betting. WINTICKET.com was the one around central
Ohio before Twinspires bought them up. Seems like I recall that the Hawkster made his bets on that/those
incriminating races from the paddock. Hell of a nice guy and really good driver. Not however the sharpest
knife in the drawer.
