Congrats to Travis Alexander!
« on: January 20, 2025, 11:43:59 PM »
Opening night at Yonkers and already back to his winning ways.  Two winners tonight and I’m sure it’s only the beginning.  Hard work pays off.  Congrats Travis!   What a joke!  ngc3

Apparently Alexander Emblom Bongiorno have carte Blanche. Everyone in harness racing industry knows they use synthetic drugs that gets through system as does Burke Svandstedt quevedo Estrada etc etc etc the list goes on.  But unfortunately nobody gives a fuck so rich get richer. The little guys who don’t abuse their horses are always racing for 4th place or 5th these other guys don’t give a crap if their horse dies in a year as long as their bank account grows

If New York was serious about ensuring a level playing field they could simply send a crew out to Mark Ford's training facility and catch about 8 guys drenching same day and another two or three using the latest EPO synthetic. But just like every other jurisdiction they only do that when the big stake races come around and those guys are racing against their stock. Post stakes season, it's the wild west.

every jurisdiction ( including ontario) is a joke
no enforcement of rules at all
it should be a privilege to race and tracks should treat themselves as private property open to members in good standing only
agree 100% with argent q, all they have to do is start having unexpected visits to farms and training centers, go on race day and just hang out for the day and observe
and do unannounced random testing or race nights at the track
even if you don't catch anyone at the time if it is done regularly with real penalties enforced just the threat would make a lot of guys think twice

Instead of running your mouth, go look for yourself how Ake operates, you would find out that he has the cleanest operation in America. The Svansthedt are real horseman and his training is superior, the doesn't need to enhance performance with drugs.

I don’t believe for one second he is 100% clean, but I would never lump him in with the scumbag regulars at Yonkers!

Just like Jimmy, I get it (Cabrini Hanover). And I wasn't necessarily referring to a master horsemen that gets 80% of the finest Standardbreds available annually. There are more than a couple of trainers that have relationship with an owner of a certain racetrack as well as prominent breeders who have been allowed to race after receiving positive tests while many others were quickly banned. The fact you jumped to defend Ake only emboldens that claim.
