Tyler Davis is a stone cold Crook at Dover
« on: January 07, 2025, 05:08:43 PM »
Race 2 at Dover at Today
Horse is 1-2.  Doesn’t Bring the horse to the gate.    Gets away 7th.  After the leaders are just far enough away he then moves the horse and paces the stretch in about 26 secs to be a fast closing third making sure he doesn’t run first or second.

Guy should be thrown out for obvious race fixing

Good job Tyler Davis

If you watched his race from December 31st when Allan was on him. It was their 1st start with the horse, he was .90 on a dollar, was sitting 5th up the backstretch and didn't pull, got stuck behind a wall of horses and came flying at the end and finished 2nd.

Next week he'll put Allan back up and win at 1/5. With his program lines, you'll never get a price unless there's another good horse in the race.

That may have happened with that horse but won't here. They've had the horse for only 2 starts since purchasing him. He's been odds on both times and came from far back and finished 2nd both times. He's eligible for the same class so most likely he'll be odds on against next week.

Dover is the epitome of a crony track. If you are not on the inside and you bet here, you are asking for a thinner wallet.

I was at Dover on Opening Night in 1969. The parking lot wasn't paved yet, and our car got stuck in the mud and we had to stay overnight in a motel in Dover until we were towed out the next day. Dover is a 5/8-mile track but it's more like a 1/2-mile track but easier to leave from an outside post than a 1/2-mile track. Dover has always been a speed favoring track and there's rarely a live outside flow.

Man don't get me started! It's not about betting! Its stay in the class and the xtra 25%. Do you actually believe Tyler and Brandon own all these horse's? There're silent partners from out i\of state and they can't go down because of the De. Owned bonus!, But definitely not setting up to cash a big ticket!

it still manipulating a sporting event. even if your trying to stay in it for the extra 25% or whatever the reason. i mean dont get me wrong its the smart move but kinda illegal.

you are fixing the outcome of the race.

In order to fix a face, you need more than one driver involved because that would be considered a conspiracy. Just because you don't mind if you finish 2nd or 3rd and drive conservatively, or appear not to go all out, you really didn't fix the outcome of the race if the other drivers are all trying to win. You may have compromised your chances but not the other driver's horses.

The horse showed many breaks before they bought him. If you look closely, you will see that the horse has different hobbles on this start. They want to see what hobbles and what hobble length work best.

If he has the best horse and intentionally doesn't win, it's race fixing.  You are 100% wrong!   tmbz1

How often does the best horse on paper not win, it happens all the time. Horses aren't machines and can repeat their previous races week after week. The horse may have been sick part of the week so they weren't able to train him, he had a bad trip, had a bad post and got parked, had bad cover, got locked in, etc. If the driver gives the so called "best horse" a bad drive, is that race fixing, maybe in your mind it is but not in mind. If the best horse won all the time the chalk percentage would be thru the roof instead of around 40% like it is at alot of harness tracks. The driver may very well have not given his best effort as a driver, but you still need to prove it was intentional which you really can't except in your own mind.
