Race 12 #1 a horse who he drives so aggressive every start gave no shot to tonight. How do the judges not do anything about this ?

Other than a qualifier, it was his first start in 2 months. You can't expect him to go all out, tonight's race was used as a tightener, he was dead on the odds board.

I understand that but why not qualify him again ? As a trainer are you not supposed to have your horses ready to win ? So basically he stifle the horse is what you are trying to say but in a polite way ?

Off a 2-month layoff one qualifier is plenty. Unfortunately, not everyone goes all out off of a qualifier. I wouldn't classify it as a stiff, more of a tune-up.

When he got away so poorly from the rail, you knew he was dead.

That’s all I’m trying to say. And something should be done

In my opinion, nothing should or will be done because they have the built in the excuse the horse was either short or he was coming off an illness or whatever reason they come up with. You must have bet the horse, so I get why you're angry, but I didn't expect him to do much tonight, so his drive didn't surprise me. The rail at Dover is not the greatest post to leave from either. He'll probably be in the same field next week from an inside post because they'll probably handicap the race by post position, be interesting to see how he drives and if he's bet.

Facts, it is rare you get a group in a qualifying race that create the same experience as a real race.  Usually horses have varied skills, are qualifying for different reasons and the result is tons of gapping and easy quarters.    You could have 3 qualifiers and still need a real race for a tightener.  Unless you fit easy conditions and draw a clearly beatable field, first race off a qualifier isn't one I'm gutting my horse for a win.

seriously

The horse makes his second start off the layoff in about 5 minutes.   Is this the week?
