Doesn’t look like anyone cares about that place final couple of weekend cards and fly out for the auction.

No one cares. The quality of racing gets worse year by year. Plus look at the purses. You can't make a living racing there.

As a cheap horse player and one who would get off my route early every Friday when I lived in Jersy to go to Freehold. I care.

It was a fun place a long time ago, sad, but like most tracks, not much fun anymore.

We flew out 2 weeks ago to see in person this place . Googling pictures of the old track pre fire looked in better shape than the current track frankly it was embarrassing to see the run down conditions of the plant . There were not 100 people in the plant and the average age was 50+ of everyone of them . The betting handle was non existent and there were only 2 tellers so that said it all . We are coming back in a few weeks once the auction list is established.

The BigM on life support, no casino, no good, maybe gets the casino and closes racing down. Without the BigM The SBOANJ might as well be on Mars! The only thing that stinks more in NJ than Jiffy Jeff & Fatso, is the smell!
