Are you referring to the drive on #4 Rocknroll Lou for vacating the pocket to come 3 wide? I've seen alot worse drives than that, but the horse was pretty empty in the stretch. Wouldn't have been worse than 2nd had he stayed inside. His thinking probably was, if the horse 1st over clears, by the time I get into the passing lane it will be too late.

Watching the replay again, should he have stayed inside and wait for the passing lane, yes, but when he went 3-wide, he flattened out pretty quickly. I spite of you calling it the "worse drive ever", if he had any horse he still would have won.

The horse had no excuse. Hung when he should have easily gone by. They paid over $50,000 for him on ongait off of Burke. Looking at his lines, most of the money he earned was won in the Mass Sire Stakes. That division was very weak. He couldn't even win the final. Got beat by a horse that sold on ongait after the final for $20,000. Time will tell how he does. His new trainer does very well but not overly impressed with the horse's lines.
