Missing Delaware trainer
« on: November 04, 2024, 04:30:04 PM »
Just saw Dover Downs entries for Thursday, normally trainer Tim Crissman would have several of his horses entered, however none of his horses are entered and haven't been all week which would lead to believe he's either  suspended or barred from the track. Thursday's card features the Matron races for the 3-year-olds.

I thought Stafford got days for failure to pass the breathalyzer test at Harrington. Actually he only got fined for this.

I see Devita is down on 2 for Travis Alexander.  Is he not welcome in Delaware?

I have no idea but don't ever recall Alexander entering a horse in Delaware before this Thursday.

He has 2 big money stakes horses in the Matron and has been the trainer all year.  All of a sudden not under Alexander.  Only reason is they had to have denied his entries.

Sometimes trainers aren't licensed in every state, that could be the reason. Corey Callahan's father Nick is licensed in Delaware but when his horses are entered in Maryland or PA, his brother Shaun is listed as trainer.

I never agreed with that. Just like Sean Bier goes down in Pa but Crissy in Delaware. King always listed Joann in other states but himself in Delaware, Teague uses Francis as trainer, and we all know damn well who trains those horses. Not to mention Berry and a Jack Parker using their wives as trainers... Just trying to beat the system. If they're going to do this then it should list the other as stable.
