Someone has to tell Ringo that its time to completely hang it up. His Schtick is old and tiring and Stinks at calling a race.

As long as Roger can breathe and can still see, he'll be the announcer because no one has the guts to tell him how bad he is.

He looked great yesterday in the winners circle hobbling around, aimlessly. Withered up old prune, clothes 2 sizes too big. He is an ARROGANT asshole on top of his shitty calls. He needs to be fired he will never leave on his own. He is worse every year. If you can't hear it you're deaf. Listen to the call of the jug final yesterday, it was pitiful.

You are watching the race, and you need someone to tell you who is in front who's second? He just adds a little color to it. Try picking a 5 horse field and you call it and record it then listen how you messed it up. Hang in there Roger

From the 3/4 pole until just before the finish line he never mentioned Mirage Hanover's name, is he totally blind too?

In the first division post parade he called Alexander's horse HuntingforTHEcrom e, and in the final mixed up Mirage Hanover with Total Stranger in the stretch, which is why he never said his name.  I don't think retirement is a word in his vocabulary. Too Bad.

Keep making excuses for the asshole, he is totally lost, and most of the people know it. It's sad, just like watching great pitchers stay way too long.

Just a case of the world passing him bye.  When he could call a race correctly, regardless of his style, he was one of the things that went with The Jug and fans loved or hated his style.  All that is in the past and he should be allowed to do the post parade of next years Jug and then just wander the fair grounds.

How could management of the event possibly allow same color saddlecloths when the announcer clearly can't tell the horses apart from one another?

This year the saddcloths were different colors. 1 was red 2 was blue etc.. it was hard to tell even being there because the saddlecloths had a jug where the number goes.

putting a "jug" on or changing the color of the standard saddle cloths is illogical and hurts everyone involved

3 being white and 5 being black they did look similar. Watching live I could see the color of the saddcloths but not sure about the simulcast
