Luke McCarthy

Has three in at Chester today that he owns, listed with a NJ address. All trained by Aaron Lambert and driven by Bradley Chisholm.

Is Luke the brother of Todd and Andrew? Thoughts?

Yes, and drove Muscle Hill to a win years ago.

Harness Racing Update says different

McCarthy, 41, is no stranger to the U.S., having spent plenty of time there over the years, including a stint which saw him drive the great Muscle Hill to win the 2009 World Trotting Derby.

Luke McCarthy won the World Trotting Derby with Muscle Hill back in 2009. Brian Sears was his regular driver but due to rain and poor track conditions the race got moved back to later in the day and Brian Sears had commitments elsewhere.

If you read below you will see that the year BEFORE Luke drove him in the World Trotting Derby, Andrew drove him at the Red Mile.

Yes, Andrew drove him in one race at the Red Mile as a 2YO.

That is correct. Brian, and other drivers as well, had to miss the WTD because they had to be at Mohawk, and Luke did win the race with Muscle Hill.
