Dan Noble wants the boarder kept open
« on: August 11, 2024, 02:31:29 AM »
Just watched a few replays from Saturday night

Danny had to be high as a kite for the Milstein

The odds of AM letting him go out of the 8 hole were 0.00

everyone East of the Mississippi knew it except for Danny...he must have a supply of something good coming in from Mexico

People have posted about Merriman not being a Grand Circuit driver, here's another one

First, you wonder with Amac in a speed dual with Noble to the quarter how could his horse hold up to finish 2nd against some pretty nice horses. At the 3/4 Amac to me was borderline overly aggressive hitting his horse.   Also, I can't believe that track favors the front runners that much. I guess that's why Merriman and Wrenn always goes for the lead. I have been watching races there for a long time and never remember being in front having such an advantage. I know you can control the fractions, but I remember when coming from the back or front made no difference.

That kid's brain is fried, at least he didn't knock anybody down. Merriman and Wrenn generally have the better horses , when they want the front they take it.

Noble is dangerous on the track!  He should’ve been instantly drug tested after causing that accident.  Someone could’ve been killed!

Wow I am surprised with all the so called geniuses out here. Noble took a shot, no one was leaving except AMAC and Noble fired. Its difficult to get a horse to pullback when you have sent him hard you risk shutting his air off and having him choke down. Lets see for 300,000 your just supposed to go single file around track. AMAC opened up to early down backside thats why he lost.

Was probably feeling himself after The Courageous Lady where a filly that's been racing in the Buckeye series (not even the top level Ohio sire stakes) passed 7 horses in the last quarter to finish second at 60-1.

At least he took a shot from the 8 hole!  The horse paced a 26 second opening 1/4.  Probably in reality a 25 and change opening 1/4.  He got a spot and tried to get a check.  The mission failed as he finished 6th.  If they finish 5th, it is a 15000 check and it is equivalent of winning a 30000 open!  He didn't do the horse any favors off the gate, but at least it made for a better race than the meadowlands pace elimination to get into a 500000+ race!
